I will be working at True Religion beginning this week. I'm so excited because A) I will work with such an amazing team, and B) this will be a great opportunity to raise money for the documentary! I can't expect all donations to come from outside sources, I will definitely put a lot of hard work in!
In regards to flyers: My goal is to cover the entire Portland Metropolitan area by the end of the week. I do need a lot of volunteers but I am hopeful. If you know anyone that is interested, please feel free to forward my email: minameman@gmail.com.
As of now, over 400 brochures have been distributed throughout Portland State University and the Mountain Park area in Lake Oswego. We plan to expand this by 600 by the end of the week.
I just found out this week that I will be presenting at the First Baptist Church in Downtown Portland on April 28th during their weekly dinner. I will have 45 minutes to educate a huge group on the importance of this project! I'm preparing a powerpoint at the moment.
I will be contacting a few organizations that are based in Kurdistan this week.
